SECTION CHANGE Request Form

Use this form only if you are already enrolled (not just on the waiting list) in Biology 1A and/or 1AL.

You may fill out this form at any time. Submissions will be checked periodically by no particular schedule. If two submissions are found to have a complementary switch requests, the two students will have their sections switched with each other at that time.

Section change requests must be made by 3:00 PM Monday 6/23 to be considered before the first section meeting. Any forms submitted after the deadline may not be considered. No section changes will be possible after the end of the first week of classes (Friday 6/27).

Section changes that are approved will be made directly in the enrollment system. Changes will be seen immediately on TeleBears or at 7:00 am the next morning Mon-Fri. You will also be informed by email when a section change has been made.

If you are enrolled in both 1A and 1AL, you changes can only be made in both discussion and lab together (they must match). If you are enrolled in only 1A or only 1AL, then you will obviously only be requesting a change in only discussion or only lab.

If you find that you have made a mistake after submitting or your schedule changes causing your choices to change, just submit the form again with the correct information. We will use the most recent submission.

Make sure you need the change before making a request, but do not expect that a change will be made.

Look below at the scheduled section times. The choices are for the times that the sections meet not a specific section number. If you are requesting a change in only discussion or only Lab, your preferences selected below will be counted accordingly. Use the menus to indicate your preference using 1 for most desired to 4 for least desired. Select as many as possible to increase your chances of getting a change. Do not select times you cannot actually attend, and do not select the time you are currently enrolled. Sections 103 and 104 are the most likely to have students who want to switch out to other times. If you are enrolled in both 1A and 1AL, you must be enrolled in the same numbered discussion and lab sections. You cannot request to mix sections.
